Try to unplug it and wait a few minutes. Then plug it back in. May have been a power surge

No fill? The wiring diagram should be in the control panel. I THINK the codes were on the diagram. Hopfully the previous owner or another tech didnt rip it off.

nF = no Fill

redcarpetdrew's profile picture
nF is the machine reporting that it has detected a problem with the water fill. In short, the cpu doesn't see the proper water level being reached by the pressure switch in the allotted time. Many people think that the washer will blindly fill to level no matter how long it takes like a regular top loader. This is not the case with the Neptune series. If that water level isn't reached, usually the machine will shut down. This can be caused by several things.
1) The screens in the fill hoses and/or the water valve intakes are plugged and need cleaning. This is the most common cause. Just because there's flow doesn't mean its the proper flow.
2) The pressure switch is blocked and cannot sense the level. On the 55/65/7500, this can happen. The pressure switch sits on top of the pump and pokes thru a black rubber cap to read the level. Due to the location of the switch, all sorts of crap can block it.
3) The pressure switch is defective.
4) You have a wiring issue/loose connection.
5) The cpu is defective. This is least likely.

As stated above, the tech sheet is usually hidden in the console and gives the procedure to get into diagnostics and test the pressure switch. If it's missing, I can most likely link you to where you can get an online copy...

Good luck!

Thanks Andrew....

my mind is going, I don't why I didn't think of looking for the tech sheet, I was looking in all the manuals, and I have 2 of these machines, so one is bound to have it, I was just testing the machine, and had it hooked to the sink wih one hose, the hot one laying on the floor, ran several loads and about the 10th one got this code after the last spin, I thought it was "no fill", but wasn't sure, and becaue it didn't do this te first few times I tought it may have been something else....many thanks....and YUKON JACK thanks you too!!!...look at the big ham....

Look at those pink ears! (No, I meant Yukon Jack's!) LOL

Yukon Jack has the most wonderfull eyes! What a beautifull dog.

Another possibility is the way you have it hooked up. With the automatic temp control, even set on 'cold-cold', it may shut off the cold valve and use a little hot. (Same on warm fill, too!) If the water temp isn't right, say the cold is too cold for proper detergent activation, It'll put in a little hot. That could interfere with the fill levels if the hot isn't hooked up... Just an idea!

That is a really big dog. You don't have to bend over to pet him, and he has easy access to things close to the edge of that table without even trying. How much does he weigh?

He's a loveable bear

I have three of them....this one is Yukon Jack, the biggest at only 57 pounds, then Ellen Ripley at 47 and Yogi Bear at 42. Yogi is all fluff and an alfa male, actually smallest of the 3 and the boss of all....each with their own personality...

I would've guessed him an 85, minimum.
