I have an old 407 model that is in need of a new agitator. I have one but am having difficulty removing it without using force. I have seen the tool needed but can't find it anywhere.Of course,Whirlpool's tech line was completely ignorant of such a device and, even though you dial the toll free Maytag number, you still hear them say they're Whirlpool. If they're going to service their Maytag brand appliances, their techs should know about tools like this.Any information anybody here can provide me to get one of the "Agi-tamers" will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Call your local appliance parts distributor. I found mine through Dey Distributing.
