Hi.
This is my Creda W120VW.-1998. Photo below-
Sorry for camera phone pic..
I am still having door seal problems and was wondering if I could please ask for your help.
Im buying a new Beko WMXD760W but will be keeping the Creda.
The Door seal leaks at the 9 o'clock position( hinge side) on the door and then, the water runs out at the bottom 6 o'clock position.
Water almost pouring out on deep rinse option !
I have tried re-fitting the door and its still leaking.
Also tried petroleum jelly on the glass bowl ! YuK!
I'm now thinking of using a rubber /silicone sealant -will that work ? If so what kind do I need ?

Thank you so much.
Regards.
Louis.

Could it be a leak from the dispenser running through the door hinge?

Have you tried a new door seal?

The hinges / plastic hinge bearings can be problematic if damaged?

Could the leak be coming from the dispenser and running around the door frame so it looks like its a seal problem?

Silicon on a door seal is never a good idea, and is never needed when fitting / sealing a door seal.

good luck

did you also check to see if the glass has a small hole in it or if the seal joint around the door is okay

Thank you all so much for your replies.
Firstly, I offer my apology for posting this thread on the wrong page-D.L.
It should have been on the Imperial page .

Yeah I know -Im a twit for that mistake !

Its definately not the dispenser .
The leak is coming from the seal.

As for my suggestion -silicone sealant- I think I will leave that idea out now !
I havent tried a new door seal yet and yes its probably the solution.
I really dont know how to fit one.
Thats how narrow my washer fixability skills are !
I know most of you can but I have trouble with my arthritic hands.

Thanks to you all again for your time and knowledge.
My Kindest Regards.
Louis.

Hi all.
I know what the problem is now.
The doorseal is not making contact with the glass bowl .
Looks like a small kink in the rubber.
Can I fix this ?
Or is a new seal in order?
Many thanks.
Louis.
