Yet another GE oddball. A 1973 second rung Programmed washer. We bought a TOL from this year, with panel light, timed bleach and softener dispensers, mini basket and powdered detergent dispenser that sat on the filter pan where a normal softener dispenser would have gone. From 1969 to 1973 or so, GE offered two TOL programmed washers. The TOP top of the line look like these:

and the second rung ones only had 5 selections instead of 77, looked like these and for a while only featured the regular capacity (for anyone who cares):

Nothing removes lint and animal hair from a washload like a Filter flow does... I wish I had room for one of those!

The washer in the ad looks just like the one that was in the Home Economics Department at my old high school. The only difference is that one had two less toggle switch selections.
