Sometime in the early nineties I'm guessing! I know a lot of people on here hate these machines with a passion, but I happen to LOVE these, especially from this time period! I especially LOVE that agitator! My summer camp from the good old days had this set for washing all our towels, swimsuits, and the stuffed animals for the toddler/baby area. I was always put in charge of washing everything because they knew that I knew exactly what to do plus that I loved it! I miss that washer!!!

I thought those were fun machines, although the absense of recirculating lint filtration is a bummer. They are good-looking, though. Yes, that's a Horizon 2000 design. My 1989 still has the curve-a-licious agitator that Frigilux loves ;-), and the cartridge lint filter. I love the "faux-Dual Action" agitator. |
