Hi Darren.

Even comes complete with obligatory cracked facia and dodgy dial!

Make sure you get that bit of facia from above the powder drawer - always fragile but, with glue and some strengthening, you can execute a repair and you'd hardly notice.

Was going to ask whether you were going to go for it, but question answered already.
Let us know if you change your mind.

Deffo go for it and good luck.
Paul
p.s the safe acquisition of this 95450 would mean a 3 switch, 4 switch, 5 switch and top loader New Generation were safe.
Only the 2 switch and Microtronic to find after that!

p.s appears to come with side strips and door release intact and original door, so you will be able to date it to the month! That plastic chrome will come up a treat.

I like that one too, love that Chrome, but at 800 spin i'll probably hang out for the 1000 spin version and keep looking.

£53.99 - bloody hell!!!!

and my parents disposed of a minter 95452. Keep telling them it would have had a value!

did anyone take the plunge at all? someone really wanted it, judging by the price.

The almond 95492, in newport, went for £17 to £18 quid. I didnt bite with that one either.

as you say Darren, something else will come along soon.

I was really shocked to see the price. I wonder if the buyer realises that the youngest this machine can be is 22 years old!

we will all keep our eyes peeled for any more goodies.

I was keeping an eye on this one too, had no intention of bidding as i knew Darren was looking to get it, i thought i might bid on the 95492 instead, but decided against it as i wondered what Dad would say when i told him to take me to Wales in the van!

I was shocked at the difference in price between the two machines, im guessing it mightve been because less people wanted a cream machine, like the 95492.

Someone else obviously wanted the one in Lincoln as much as Darren.

If its not a collector thats got it, i wonder whether it will reappear as a rejected purchase? What with the large piece of facia that was cracked of it, above the powder drawer.

Just me clutching at straws - i hope it has gone to a good home and lives out the rest of its life, well cared for.

Paul
