It could be 3.57 db----if it's not running! My LG is rated at a very hushed 45 db., and it has no filters to deal with. It claims to be the quietest dw with a food disposer. The newest TOL Bosch/KitchenAids are rated at 40 db. They claim to be the quietest machines on the market, period. They don't have a food disposer, so you have to clean filters. 45 db is extremely quiet. I'll forget it's running when I'm busy in the kitchen and inadvertently pull the door open to put something in. I never notice when it switches from washing the upper rack to washing the lower rack. | ||
