well i have relocated back to my home town in Huddersfield after 12 months living down in norfolk by my self after my relationship brake down, decided that i needed a fresh start and and something to motivate me again.... and the move is what i needed anyway decided to post some pictures of my machines in there new home and an addition to the family... when i originally looked at the place there was no place for the dishwasher and i sold the miele... after two weeks of washing up by hand i couldn’t do it no longer... so the hunt for a dishwasher started .. my brothers girlfriend's mum had the Hotpoint dwf50 sat in her garage and was ready to throw it in the skip only used twice she decided she didn’t like dishwashers and went back to doing it by hand, she didn’t want nothing for it as it had been stood in the garage for a long time... it only needed a good clean and to be run though a few intensive cycles and its as good as new. a little nosier than the miele but cannot look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak... I’m impressed with the performance of the Hotpoint and quite shocked after having the miele.

Nice to see a fellow northener :).
Great machines there. Loving the Miele's. My brand spanking new shiney Miele arrives on Saturday morning. I've never used a Miele dryer. Are they as quiet as the washers?

I've been lumbered with a Beko since I moved into my apartment but I've FINALLY got around to getting my own now and obviously, it had to be a Miele. Where abouts in Huddersfield are you living? I have an ex, 2 aunts and a set of grandparents in Huddersfield/Brighouse.

The aeg went a year ago :( the electronics kept going wrong and eventually aeg told me to take it back to the retailer. So I exchanged it for a siemens ASR, think it's now called a IQ700 now or something. Still prefer the aeg though, but the dryer, dishwasher and washer all match now.

So what made you decide to keep the miele over one of the LG steam washers?
