Hi all,

My mum's 3 year old Whirlpool AWM5125/S has a problem with the dispenser. Where most machines have valves to change which compartment of the dispenser is filled, these have a sort of lever mechanism. Well, thats stopped working.

I tried to have a go at it myself but I can't figure out how it's supposed to go back together. Does anyone have a picture of this mechanism they could post so that I can see how it's meant to be connencted?

We're having new flooring fitted next Thursday, so I'd like to be able to sort it before then so the new floor dosen't get damaged by moving the machine.

It's not a big problem, but it's inconvenient as you have to make sure the mechanism is pointing to the powder compartment at the start of wash, then come back and final rinse fill and add softner.

Thanks,

Matt

Sadly i cant help, but that sounds good that the Whirlpool uses an old style mechanism, rather than fancy valves & stuff.

Our old Indesit Omega used levers to control the water into the powder drawer, used to love turning the programmer and watching the lever flick back & forth between the different sections of the drawer!

Hope you get it sorted v soon.
