Hey washer experts! My dilemma: got a great deal on a GE Profile washer at the scratch and dent store. Upon using it, the only problem is the plastic insert where the detergent/bleach/softener drawer slides in is cracked. I presume it was dropped at some point. Anyway, no parts centers seem to have this, I suppose it is too new or just not a part that is offered. Any thoughts? It only leaks a bit, but I know it is detrimental even so. Thanks!!

Can you use clear silicone to patch the crack?
