hey everyone, i have just re-joined this forum after about 2 years absence (i was studying!) and they apparently deleted my old profile! i used to be 'stratus'.

Any how, I was doing my new profile and i began to realise all the model number of my old washers have disappeared with my old profile and i cant seem to remember them! - if i give an approx year can you guys help me out with some model numbers?

Hotpoint Ultima (indesit version!) WT741
Hotpoint Aquarius (2005)
Hotpoint Ultima Washer Dryer (2005)

Zanussi Integrated Washer
Ariston ---
Ariston Margarita (2000)
Hoover Softwave
Indesit W1335s
Indesit Washer Dryer (white eco care, dryer never worked!)
looked like the WG1030
Indesit (1994)
Indesit (1989)

Bendix (1991) image attached!
Hoover (this was very old, had black rubber seal, no dispenser drawer very basic i owned it in Australia!)

Hotpoint Aquarius (white 1990)
Creda (looked exactly like the Hotpoint 1990)
Philips Series 90 (my favorite! awesome spin rinse!!!!)

and then..... ok this is a tough one cause i dont even remember the make and i am going by probably one of my earliest memories...

green panel, 3 lights one orange, one green, one red, dispenser on the left and dials on the right - probably between 1980-1985 front loader?
lol any clues!!

Stratus!

I remember you being on here before, and posting videos on youtube at one point. A while ago I did enquire on here as to where the videos had gone, but had no response lol.

The Hotpoint Aquarius 2005 that you mention I think could be one of the last WMA machines, or could be one of the first WF machines.

The ariston Margerita could possibly have been a A1235 or similar if it was a newish one.

The Ariston --- will have been a currys exclusive judging from your ageing of it model number someething along the lines of A1636 or similar.

The hoover softwave model number could possibly start AC.

The 1994 Indesit model number likely just started with numbers and ended with W. I had one and it was a 610W.

The 1990 Hotpoint Aquarius, Im not entirely sure of. Possibly the start of WM machines.

Hope this helps, good to have you back!
Dan :-)

Hey dan,

yeah that would have been me, i posted a bunch of videos of my WT741 high lighting the anti-clockwise spin and the high water level on the 'extra rinse' cycle - i deleted the vid's cause i had to re-new my you tube account! i still have them though :o)

Thank for the help on the aristons you most likely to be right so i'll add those models to my profile :o)

The 1994 indesit was the one with the three (really clicky buttons) on the front, i remember it using ridiculous amounts of water on the rinses as well! awesome machine! there are pix all over ebay to i'll try and post one!

Happy you remember me :o) thanks again for the help!

B

The green panel Indesit is the 092AOG.....I think thats what it says in the discription. There is a youtube vid of it doing a spin drain. Great machines! I am not sure of the black panel Indesit, my Aunty replaced her L5 with the model up from that one. 3 Dials...programer, temp and spin speed up to 800rpm plus 3 buttons...on/off, rinsehold and I can't remember what the 3rd one was.

Lol....sorry not really been much help there!

the 1990 Hotpoint Aquarius wouldnt of existed as Aquarius technology didnt come about until 1992 and those machines were badged 95***s still.

The WM series of Aquarius didnt appear until 1994 with the WM12 etc etc which had the gloss plastic fascia
and the late WM's i.e 50's 60's debuted in 1997.

So if your adamant it was 1990 it would of been a regualr Hotpoint and if your adamant it was Aquarius then it would of been from 1992 (something makes me think it could be 1991 though- I dont have the service manuals in front of me right now)

What fascia did it have? Textured plastic or was it gloss?

Textured would denote the first series of Aqua's and gloss the following series of machines.

**blush** thanks;

Dan: my msn - is lugzdesign@hotmail.com

As for the Aquarius: thinking about it - it probably was around 1992, I remember not liking much because i didn't think it was as cool as the old models with the spherical door and metal door frame. Plus we had the series 90 around 1990.

It was white, with a white matt panel, dispenser on the left, instructions, then a row of buttons (rise hold, half load etc) then the timer dial. It was a really popular model, i',m sure i can hunt down a picture of one on ebay! :o)
