Thomas, I'll do my best to purchase this washer for you! Present bid amounts to $ 22, or less that US$ 6! Saludos, Emilio |

Guys, would you please tell me everything about this machine? 1) how's the cycle's chart? 2) what does the black button do? Is that a button or a light? 3) Does it have a drain pump? 4) how to adjust the water level (it has a timed fill, right?) 5) How's it's spin? how many RPM? 6) Where can I find the instructions manual? 7) which one is it's original agitator? Is it the one that has 3 coloured rings? |

It has one cycle, with a max of 10 minutes wash time, followed by 2 deep rinses. No overflow rinse. The black "button" is where the light is, I asume the cap is missing. It has a drain pump mounted directly below the motor. It is a timed fill, and always up to the top - no half loads. Although I think you can fine tune the fill vavle to the way you like it. It spins at 1140 rpm!!!!!!!! You might be able to find one on Ebay. They are out there, as I have one for my Unimatic. This machine will not have the 3 colored rings. It will probably have a black pulator and cap with a silver detergent dispenser |

Frigidaire experts please help me, it's a little urgent! I'm choosing the freight company to transport the Unimatic from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu (almost 1700 KM) IF I WIN THE AUCTION. Please note that I've never seen that machine personally and I don't know if it needs any kind of special protection during the transport. Unimatic owners, how would you transport your babies? |

If you are having this shipped via a freight carrier, make sure that it is somehow fastened to a pallet. This way it can be moved around from trailer to trainer using a pallet lift jack. Otherwise if it is left standing up it shouldn't have too many issues. I had a 1956 Unimatic shipped from Texas to Iowa (approx. 900 miles) like this, via You Crate. You could have the shipper 'block' the tub, if you feel necessary by bracing the top of the tub rim with the top panel with two pieces of wood. This is my personal preference. You may have other advice given on alternate methods. Ben |
