I just want to say that his site is AWESOME! I've loved washers my entire life and it's great to find people who appreciate them, too.

Be sure to watch all the super-action washer videos clips, too! I can remember how excited I was when I first discovered this site. Nothing else like it!

I have loved washers since I was a tyke. My first recall is a of a slant front Westinghouse at our neighbors. LOVE the vids and pics and discussions.

This site is

so fun! And most memebers have collections/interests other than washers, which keeps it interesting. And the knowledge base is mind boggling

Hi Jeff and Welcome

to Applianceville.

Ok i am going to stop you right now based on a double quote I read in your profile. "but friends and family always convence me to get rid of them".

Someone who tell's you how to talk, what to say, when to say it , which items to keep or destroy etc. is someone who wants to control you. Listen Jeff, you let those folks know that you are not alone in this and they can continue to collect thier Hummel, Cars, Toasters, Barbie Dolls. You get what I mean. This is your baby, your hobby, your love for the washers. Let them know, they are mine and if you'd be happy for me, I'd appreciate it.

Steve

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Venus, you're right, the threads are great.

Hugh, the site is a paradise for us washer lovers.

Fred, I am excited about the video clips.

Bob (Stainfighter), I too, have loved washers since I was a tyke.

KennyGF, there are no pieces I'm in search of at this time, but I like reading the threads and seeing the pictures of other member's finds.

Steve, what you said is true. And now that I've found this site I won't feel strange about collecting washers.

I won’t be able to attend this year’s convention, but I look forward to the next one. Maybe someone on the East Coast will have a mini-wash-in sometime soon.

Take care and have fun at the convention,

Jeff
