Why can't there be ecologic style washers nowadays!
I'd love it in graphite, large capacity, around 1400 rpm spin.
Time remaining display etc.

Great ecosence 1600, what would you have the capacity as on those?

I really do hope those machines could be a reality, LoL

im glad use like them. ill answer any questions and post some more designes.

dyson2drum: id have all my machine as 6 KG standerd, all with 1400 or higher spin unless they use and induction motor.then it would be 1000.

aldspinboy: i use the microsoft programme Paint which comes standered on all windows based computers and once you get the nack of it its pretty simple.

Well done Luke, very interesting designs, you know the first look like the wide bodied Hoover machines!!!

What about a keyplate machine, and one based on the Servis UK of old Slimline and / or Quartz

Enjoy, Mike

Love them Luke!

Apologies for not commenting sooner on them.

I always find it theraputic drawing and designing stuff. my teachers were shocked that i didnt do technical drawing as part of my options at school (options timetable would not allow it, so did CDT Technology instead).

I have dabbled a bit, but at a very basic level, in MS Paint and am interested how you get the long sweeping and flowing curves and angles.

My machines have tended to be those with squares and circles.

Te only one I still have is my rendition of the Hoover A2018 Automic E, that an Aunt and Uncle owned up until 1986.

When it was finished I was really pleased, as it was the only likeness I had - then someone posted a photo with one in. Typical eh! still have it though and have posted it below - nowhere near as good as your works though.

Keep on drawing and designing.
paul
p.s to whoever posted the picture of the real thing, I thankyou. Its always good to have a picture of the real thing too.

My Picture

How wonderful to see that picture again, I scanned this on to the website last year. That was the machine that got me into washingmachines. My Grans machine, and it always smelled of persil bio powder.
Those distributions were just wonderful!

What a wonderful machine. Sadly, like my gran the machine is no longer with us it was a beauty!

Hi cbosch.

I still remember my aunt and uncles A2018 with fond memories. Dumping a cupfull of Surf in the drum, before the clothes went in, with most of it going straight down the sump.

If you want to see the machine that replaced your gran's machine in the electricity boards model lineup, then click the link below...

Cheers
paul
