This set wandered in with our haulaways. They are VERY entry level but still have that Maytag classy look. I have no idea what I'll do with them but they may end up as donors unless someone here wants them...

Washer:
A106 series 01
025038CT (Oct. 1979 mfg.)

Dryer
DE106
019847CX (Dec. 1979 mfg.)

A very nice, entry level matched set for the person who wants to dabble in some center dial goodness.

Good thing the inner tub isn't white or else it may have had a future in my 702......

Wow, the 106 has the turquoise agitator. I was thinking it would have the black one like the 206 did.

Have a good one,
James

Probably was

Those look a lot like the models I got right around 1980, bol, but Maytag was pretty expensive then. I paid around $500 for each, and that was at a discount!

I would probably still have them, but when I sold the house, the new owners wanted them in the purchase.

70, I'm betting this model from the 60s probably did have a black agitator. I think those were probably gone by the early 70s or so.

Scott, i think you are right, the folks had the one cycle from 1966 or 67, the agitator was black prolly bakelite with the "under skirt" that shows up in one of the POD'S, turq. lint filter with the white mesh.
