Does anyone have any experiences or know someone with a Staber washer? The design looks very interesting. I don't trust testimonials found on a commercial website. Strange that I never noticed Consumer Reports testing this washer. Anyway, go to their website and look at the washer in action if you have never seen it work. www.staber.com...

I still love vintage top loaders the best.

Several people here have commented on their Staber washers. The news wasn't really very good.
For one thing, you are on your own when it comes to repairs. Sure they are "user servicable" but if you need help there is none to count on.
They are also not very reliable. I'll let the people who have had them comment about this.
