That whirlpool is the same as my old one!, its dead now. (not a premonition or anything lol)
I have vids of it on my youtube - mattie17

don't fiddle too much or things might start to drop off (oh god, so many connotations lol)

Matt

AWW GAWWD matt dont tell me that!! what happened to yours cuz mines very very touchy. and i found out, if you have it on with no options and then decide later you want to push in rapid cycle you have to turn it off press rapid then turn it back on for it to work. THAT and it will drain out the wash or rinse water quite fine but when it spins it tkaes for ever to slowly drain what it spins out and it ends up causing a suds lock. so ive gotten use to after the second burst at 500rpm i stop it then start it again and its fine. i think the pumps are bulk gay, they let the pump take in an air bubble thats too big to suck out:(

but oh well its the closest thing to AWM312 i could find. if my hoover didnt die in the butt i would have kept looking for it.

I can vouch for Whirlpool pumps being useless too

My mum's machine is just a newer, more basic version of that one, it takes about a minute to drain from wash level, and if there is even the tiniest hint of suds it goes crazy with sudslocks and on more than one occasion has just given up and shut off cos it couldn't clear the suds. I've just got into the habit of using tiny amounts of detergent and washing towels in half loads.

If my Mum's had more felxibility with the programmes (e.g. a synthetics wash over 40 would be nice) and they sorted out the pumps, I think these would be really cool machines. It never rebalances for spin and tumbles nice and fast. Luckily her's came free with the house so we can't really complain, but I do think they look a lot nicer in white than that awful dull grey they refer to as "silver" lol.

when i got mine it needed brand new bearings as the other ones were just terrible.
Its suspension never really was too crash hot and would squeak and rattle even on a 600rpm spin.
Eventually the electronics gave out, none of the buttons worked in the end, the on/off button would not activate straight away, you had to tap it a bit and press it on and off like 6 times before it eventually took off.
Got too tedious so it had to be binned, of course the mieles have done more than that thing ever could lol

I like the look of these Whirlpools. I think the one in the photo is badged as 'Creations' in the UK.

The did a basic 'Solutions' model with 2/3 buttons, followed by 'Creations' which had 5 and the 'Inspirations' model (AWM328) which had 7 buttons i think, aswell as a 4 or 5 button version badged Inspirations (AWM337). I am open to corrections though!!

There was also one that didn't have a name as such, though this seemed to have 5 options aswell, but the Whirlpool name had moved from the door to the powder drawer.

They seem to make a similar wining like sound to newer Zanussis but ive heard you can get really deep rinses on some programs. The Inspirations model has an 'Intensive Rinse' button, which i guess is what makes the water higher on that model?!

Liam.

Haha yeah i wanted mine to have a model name, sucks it doesnt.
Matt: Ive seen ur vids ages ago haha they're on my ipod for when i get bored. my suspension is getting they but its not as bad as yours was but im sure they'll get there.

Chris: You know me and suds by now=]:, Nah i dont do silly stuff with detergent cos most times its just not funny. i only ever let the suds build up when nothing is in the machine and im cleaning it out (Maintenance cycle) << yes i think i spelt iit wrong haha:P but when ive got clothes in there ive always used front loader detergent and theres not many suds.

Take it easy boiz=]:
