I need a cigarette after watching it spin with all that water in the drum!!! Reminds me of the spin drain on the 35 lb. or 50 lb. BigBoy washer at the Norge Cleaning Village in the early 1960s.

Now That was VERY cool!! If I ever see one of these sitting out I'll be sure to get it. Repairing an LG just to see the tub being cleaned is worth every penny. Thanks mark_wpduet for sharing.

I have a feeling that she's going to ruin his machine. That was a funny video though.

That was better than a sitcom. I love it!

That tub-clean was magnificent. I'd totally have one of those if I had a modern front-loader.

Those two should have a show on their local cable access channel!

Here's a video that features a tyke who will undoubtedly be a card-carrying AW.ORG member in the future.

I thought the guy was being pretty disrespectful of his mother in this video. The way he talks to her!

I agree, this video was hilarious! That poor woman. I think she's tormented by a FL machine!

Why does LG

has that strange filling routine... They fill with very short burst of water at the beginning, and just after a few moments they start to fill up. Is there any reason why? I've never seen other washers do it that way.

Don`t know why, but the two reminded me of the film "New York Stories" where Woody Allen`s Mother hovers over the Chrysler Building. Indeed better than a sitcom.
BTW I think she`s right as she complains about seeing no suds. Zero suds with a high sudsing detergent like Tide indicates that the wash solution is saturated.

Yes right whirlcool I agree with you, the video was funny, but poor woman. The son was disrespectful of his mother talking to her like that.
And how can you buy a machine like that for an older woman?
Poor lady.

I took the whole thing as being done intentionally humorous, and I figure he coached/rehearsed it with her before shooting. His comments may have been added later as a voice-over.

And that's definitely not enough detergent.

That was funny, but I thought the cameraman came across as being rather rude to his mother.

I have a feeling if my mom were alive today, and saw these new machines with all the electronic controls she would be asking for her Maytag wringer. I didn't care much for his tone, and I didn't care much for the black comment either.

I feel sorry for her, maybe he should do all the laundry for her.

But sometimes that Joisy and New Yawk accent can make people sound ruder than they really are.
