Hi Guys

Below is a brochure of the Oz version of the Thor Automagic...known here under the name of "Healing/Thor".

I received a call from someone who has 2 of these machines...one complete but with a burnt out motor and one as a shell but with parts to restore it.

So, my question is what kind of price would you offer for one? He's going to email me a pic when he can but i just want to know a ball park figure. From what he said...it doesn't come with the dishwashing bowl and keep in mind its not working.

Any assistance would be helpful.
Cheers
Leon

If he's auctioning the units together on the bay, minimum starting bid price should be $250.00 - $500.00 US dollars
only if the machine with the burnt motor is free from rust and porcelian damages.
These machines are rare but price wisely to open bidding process.

Interesting that the word "magic" within "Automagic" is underlined to keep one from assuming/concluding that this is an automatic machine.

(Just bear in mind that this machine has been known to steal and hide trousers/jeans between the inner and outer tub....................)

Maybe it was a flop, but you have the admire the creativity and efficiency mindedness of the '50's. Very cool.
