This is for sale on Craigslist. Says it has a crack on the window at the front but does not leak. Could the door be replaced and at what cost?

Thanks!

Plastic outer window

Is none too thick; a good whack would probably crack it. The inner window is heavy glass and is built into the seal for the door; that's why it doesn't leak. We have the same model in our showroom at THD. Some LG models have the plastic and some have just the inner glass. I took a look at the one on our floor and it seems like you can replace the door with just a phillips' head. No idea of replacement cost, but you can contact LG at 800-984-7469.

Thanks!

I will call them in the AM and see if it is feasible. Don't want a mess on my hands but at such a low price, I was willing to try it.

That's the exact model I wanna get when/if my Duet dies. I like the rear controls. Incidentally, if you go to sears.com, Kenmore has a version very similar to this. The last time I looked at it it was 500 dollars brand new on sale. Looks like it's 599 now. I wonder if LG makes this for Sears? I think it has the heater. Here is the link

I don't thinkk this has the roller jets on the drum baffles nor the recirculating spray that it's true LG simbbling has.
