I'm surprised these, as new, were so over-priced.

A novel idea especially for single-person or two-person households and for those who find it hard to bend.

Im gonna leave the whole "find it hard to bend" thing alone...

I could really use one because my roomate/ex is a chef and well when he cooks the dishwasher gets run twice... this would help alot

True, it would make a great pot-washer by replacing a double-bowl sink and by not having to tear out cabients and such to have a 2nd DW.

$1,000, how much did these things cost in the beginning. I like the design especially for when one is "home alone" or a quick load mixing bowls. Seems to me one with a little quick cycle like the vintage topload dishwasher would be the perfect thing for adult independent living kitchens.
