Hi everyone, it was great to meet all of you who were there, and to experience my LONG awaited first convention! I had the time of my life. Here are the first pics I have downloaded into my photo album. They are larger files as my silly computer won't seem to let me size them down. Enjoy. Photos # 1-21 are the new ones.

Eddy, yay! Most pleased to have met you now.

I have to comment on the '68 Inglis Sterling. My grandparents had what would have been the equivalent Whirlpool Supreme 80. Both had the same lighted timer and five temp combos. There are, however, two feature differences that are interesting (to me):

Inglis has a variable water level, the Whirlpool had three levels.

Whirlpool had a self-cleaning filter, Inglis has a manual clean waterfall brush filter.

I don't recall clearly if the Whirlpool had a bleach dispenser, but I think it did. I know there was an agitator-mounted softener dispenser that the grandparents never used.

Thank you everybody for the nice remarks! Glenn, you're right about the Inglis. For some reason they never used the self cleaning filters on their machines but they put them in their machines they built for Simpson Sears (Kenmore). The later models included a bleach dispenser on their top models...
Eh!
