Didn't the huge capacity models (as shown above in yellow)...both by Hotpoint & G.E.... have airflow deficiency issues? |

Now I remember those jumbo GEs. I understood that the airflow was weaker, because the drum was much larger, but fitted with the same blower from the standard sized models. |

Not quie Gary. The Hotpoint dryer door abo ve is much much larger. Only very low-rise laundry baskets will allow you to open the door with the basket in front. The GE above, a more typical laundry basket can still be placed in front and the door still be opened. But, that GE dryer above is kinda what the "replacement" for those huge door/drum dryers became.
