So, I put a load into the A806 last night, and had retired to the living room to watch some TV. A moment later I smelled a burning smell, and it was coming from the laundry. The washer had a sweet burning smell and at first i thought it was the belts. As I was sniffing around, the console light flashed brighter, and then flickered and went out... and a moment later, smoke wafted out of the control panel. I shut the machine off. Have not removed the console cover yet but I suspect it was the ballast. Nothing on repairclinic for it. Anyone have any ideas on what ballast to use? | ||
