I say "interesting" because I don't recognize the styling....

Old style Kenmore Dryer delivery available - $75 (Athens, tn.)

This is the old style of Kenmore Dryer for sale. It is a heavy duty wrinkle guard dryer it has a drum light and a control panel light and both work. It has been totally torn down and cleaned out. Intalled a new set of drum rollers and a new heating element. Belt, drum seal and door gaskets are in great shape. It heats up very well and runs really quiet. This thing is a blast from the past when things were built to last. It looks a little rough cosmetically but it runs like a top. Can deliver and setup if needed for a small fee.

This if I correct, is a 1972 Model 70 dryer. I love that chrome knob. If only there were a matching washer to go with it.

Have a good one,
James

One of my aunts had the washer

I remember it was EXTREMELY quiet. Must've had the quiet pak installed.

Jason -

Yep, you are correct. The 1972 70 series washer did indeed have the skinny belt. Very cool machine!

Jason:

If I'm correct, the washer match to this dryer also has the same interior as your Kenmore 800 along with the top mounted dispenser. BTW Hope to see that up and running soon.

Have a good one,
James

Kenmore 800

Me too :-( but as I said earlier, life is in the way right now. Looking for a full time job and operating on a tight budget does not make for a garage filled with washers.
