Here is an article entitled "Who Killed Westinghouse?" It was in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and focuses on Donald Burnham, the CEO from 1963 to 1968.

What a shame!!!

Westinghouse was a fine product for a lot of years,in my opinion, the best range and refrigerator on the market for many years, my great aunt had a Step Top range from the early 60s,I can remember well her baking in that oven all day and the outside being just warm, try that with anything today, the Corox units seemed to put out more heat than just about anything else,a sad end for a fine product.
