When WCI formed, did the Kelvinator, Gibson and White-Westinghouse dryers continue to use the Kelvinator design prior to takeover? I know that when Kelvinator departed from AMC in the 60's, they developed a new layout that copycatted the Whirlpool belt-and-pulley drive. Then around the end of that decade, they switched to a new single-belt-drive system, like many other modernized dryers. Did WCI use the single-belt Kelvinator design for all their dryers? And is that identical setup still used by Electrolux, or has it since been redesigned?

Or,

Did WCI use the Westinghouse layout during the 70's and 80's? Just curious.
