Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone who attended this year's convention, it was great to see old friends and make many new ones. Aside from the heat, we had a great time washing, and getting to know each other beyond the confines of the message boards. It was a pleasure to open my home and collection to everyone and I hope everyone was able to experience and enjoy everything they wanted to. With the addition of some last minute surprises nobody expected, we certainly had plenty to keep everyone entertained! As I said at dinner Saturday night, I can't thank Terry enough for all his help, friendship and company in the days prior to the convention, I could have never pulled everything off on my own and he was invaluable at keeping track of the details and his tireless efforts all through the events of the weekend were very much appreciated by everyone! Thanks also need to go out to all those who came early to help set up; tables and chairs, linens, flowers and decorations were perfectly done on Friday and the clean-up and constant help attention to trash and food duties by everyone all weekend was also a huge relief! I can't say I'll be doing it all again next year, but since everything worked out so well, we're not crossing our names off the convention location list for sure! Thanks again everyone for everything I'm glad everyone had a safe trip home! Now it's back to everyday life and I have washing to do!! Take care and happy 4th! Greg |

I was so grateful for your hospitality Greg and finally to get to meet you! The convention was beyond my expectations and it was so good to meet many new people as well as those whom I've known only through the internet all these years. Thank you for hosting it and all the hard work you put into it, and Terry too who deserves very special recognition and a huge kiss too for his hard work! And thanks to Skyler as well for letting us come into his space. Eddy |

Greg many, many thanks for all your hard work and planning with help from Terry. The convention went absolutely flawlessly, I had such a great time. I can't thank you enough for hosting such a special event. It was so great to see old members again and meet the many new members that have joined since the last big convention. Looking forward to the next one where ever and when ever that might be. |

I think its all the appliance members who give a great big thanks to you and Terry for hosting such a wonderful event. Its a big responsibility holding the space for 70 people around your house etc...and you managed brilliantly....(apart from the sensory overload when you walked into the garage on Saturday morning....full on or what!!!! your face was a picture...it was a Jetcone Gobsmacked moment... It was great for me to catch up with you all from my first visit in 2001 and to make lots of new friends as well... THANK YOU Mike |

Greg and Terry, You both know of my "love" of vacuums but after that wonderful weekend in Omaha I have a new appreciation of another kind of appliance.................washers and dryers and the ultimate, when they do both! You are superb hosts and Greg, you could not have been kinder to open your home to all of us. Many thanks and I look forward to see you either washing, drying, wringing your clothes and not your hands, vacuuming and just for good measure dusting and ironing. Oh the glamour of domestic duties! Venus, We could only get 130 out and the other 8 will be shipped when the modified "disturbulator" brushrolls arrive. I think you will find these very stimulating for your cleaning needs! It sure was great to meet you and your son. He is soooo lucky to have a supportive mother who also enjoys his interests. I was in love with the electrolux salesman and my mother was ready to send me to Dr. Kervorkian in a straight jacket. So, if you need another child, and would like to fly for free, you know where to find me. Charlie |
