I found a couple of things around the house while doing some clean-up this week so I thought I post them on the board and see if they have owners: 1 black Kum & Go cap - Jon Charles, I think this is yours?? 2 pairs of shorts in a plastic bag, all clean and folded but left in the garage. Let me know if these items are yours and we'll get them back to you! The only thing I seemed to have misplaced is the sprinkler-dispenser (white, saucer shaped cover for the lint filter post) for the 1960 Maytag dryer that came in Friday afternoon. It was in the dryer and now I've torn the house and garage apart and can't find it. I fear it may have been put in a box or something and tossed out accidentally, but if anyone remembers seeing it, it might give me a clue where it may have "rolled" off to. ;-) |

I remember seeing the sprinkle dispenser on top of the Maytag wringer washer. It was there in the garage. Did anyone else see it and think when Greg said take a agitator" that he meant anything?? Agitator is an AGITATOR not a sprinkler. I know the Caterer's didn't walk off with it beacause I watched them clean up. JETCONE |

I played with the Kenmore ball but never once saw the Maytag sprinkler...apparently by Saturday night it was gone from the wringer. |

All I can say is anyone who wuld do such a dastardly deed should be banned from the club. NO ONE has the right to take anything from a collector's premises unless the item has been offered or has been asked for and approved. I am THOROUGHLY ASHAMED there is someone in this club that would do this. Where is your sense of honor you greeddy bastard!!!

I am sure this was an accident and not a violation of our gracious host's trust. After all, we are a family. Whoever accidentally took the sprinkler should return it annonymously to its rightful owner. |

If it was picked up by accident; and I believe that is what happend; -- JUST SEND IT BACK! I put that sprinkler in Robert's truck when we picked up those machines so it wouldn't get broken when we moved the machines out. And from there it was placed in the garage with the machines, then I saw it on top of the Maytag wringer for the last time. IF you work on these machines then you know how hard parts are to come by, they don't just appear in your travels. |

So whatever the case, let's hope it returns and all is well. |

The sad thing is that trust has been broken, and that there might be some bad/negative energy among us in the family.... The good thing is that the universe is round and "don't like ugly"; If this was purposely and maliciously taken then woe to the person who snatched it....I don't wish bad on anyone... but the beauty of life is you dont have to lift a finger for justice. It all works uteslf out in the long run... and if I have learned nothing else from beng in Nebraska, the walls have eyes and ears...somehow this mystery will be unraveled... Greg I am so sorry you had to go through this. |

I wasn't there, but I find it hard to believe anyone would take that. With so many people milling around, I would hope it got shoved under something or fell behind one of the machines. |
