Have you tried layering the clothes on top of each other, one by one while loading them in? I have heard that sometimes this helps with these front loaders. |

I'm really surprised you are having this kind of a problem. I would think that the He4t would actually be gentler than the 3t since the tub baffles are smaller. I would expect the Whirlpool 9400 to be the exact same thing David |

I wonder what is different about the He4 vs the He3. I mean, how can you screw up the action on a front loader? |

Babysmaid---Wow, I use a front-loader because they're so gentle on clothes! There must be something wrong in the tub of your machine. Since switching to a FL washer, I've never lost a button off a shirt or had collars or cuffs wear out. In fact, I have a beloved around-the-house shirt which is almost worn through in places. It's been washed hundreds of times. It would have been ripped to shreds by now, had I been washing it in a 180-stroke-per-minute top-loader. Best of luck to you! When you get your machine fixed (or a new one) you'll love your FL'er. |

I am SO much happier with the Whirlpool 9460! My HE4t could've been a lemon, and glad to be rid of it! So far, 11 loads in the Whirlpool, and 100% satisfied! Thanks! |
