Four plus a mixer and misc parts...

Watch out, Mixfinder! I armed him with a Sunbeam model 9 mixer so he can come up to Seattle ready to play. I didn't have time to go thru her. Can you give it a loving going over?

An unfortunate turn of events for the Direct Drive...

redcarpetdrew's profile picture
Cub decided to make room for the Asko set by leaving the Direct Drive behind. It was a basket case anyway. I can just hear it now: "Hey! Wait! This wasn't supposed to happen..."

I guess What happens in Vegas stays on Reno! LOL!

OOH yes one could! I got pulled over for speeding and the officer started gigling, his response: "some guys drive 400 miles for deer..You, drive 400 miles for appliances"... And i didnt get a ticket (i was doign 72 in a 60, no speed limit signs and the gps lied and told me it was 70!) But he did check i could see out all mirrors.. FYI: Officer Hurtcher loved the Mixer.. At 8:30 im standing out by some army base and showing him a mixmaster! LoL

ROFLMAO!!!!

That made my day! Getting out of a ticket with the help of washers, a dryer and the Model 9 mixer! OMG! I guess you didn't share with him how some AW members (and you KNOW who you are...) will spend a large amount of money to ship a washer from east to west or to points in between! He could have put you on a Psyc hold for that...

(i was doign 72 in a 60, no speed limit signs and the gps lied and told me it was 70!)

Yyyyeeeeaaahhhh! SURE it was the GPS. That's YOUR story and you should stick to it... Did Officer Hurtcher share any good Sunbeam recipies with you???

I think that Amana is a 2000 or 2001 model. I saw a set of those in Sears several years back. I have not seen any since, I take it that they probably were not that popular, at least in my area. That a Amana has a VFD with a fluorescent light. Nice collection of machines!

Let the Amana remain a dream. They were problematic.
