OMG... After reading the LG post i had to put a post up about my Askos..

I have washed everything in my house (even if it wasnt dirty LOL)..After 10 loads i have to give it lots of praise...

It uses a good amount of water.. On several cycles you can see the water to the bottom of the door.. Except with towels and very absorbent items, which then its not that visable.. But even then it fills with more water...So its not washing in a thimble full of water

Mine doesnt vibrate.. Its perfectly level and takes zero time to ramp up to the 1150 spin speed.. And its uber quiet when it gets to that point...

I havent been able to get it to make any kind of a suds cake.. If you put too much soap in it, it has an automatic suds kill and fills with warm water and drains and restarts..

The sanitary setting... It gets uup there..The temp i took of the water coming from the drain hose was 140 degrees.. It only takes 95 minutes for the sanitary setting which is great.. The others i've used take 2-3 hours++

The pump is loud, but very quick..

Overall im very impressed.. Good pics to come.. Once i find the camera cord

Trav,

I am so sorry to hear how much you like this washer. I have looked them over more than a few times and ruled them out as ever having a place in my home. Now, thanks to you, I will reopen this door and check them out again.

Of course the lack of video presentation on the internet makes me wonder if these machines are selling well at all.

*sigh*

Jealous still,
Malcolm

Alright, alright... Like I said, my video is three minutes too long for Youtube. I'm trying to figure out how to prune it down...

Video limbo...

I used Windows Movie Maker to piece several clips together to make a movie about three minutes too long then, figuring it was a done deal, deleted the source files. I'm not sure how to shorten the finished product... Anybody more familiar with this stuff is welcome to add any helpful ideas. Meanwhile, Cub has said he will shoot more video when he gets back home... Arrgghh...

I wonder if Robert will consider adding the 13 minute video to "See it wash"?
