I put it up on c/l last night for $45.. After 19 emails, i sold it for $75!!! Yes $75... Im like WTF... She said it was because i'd deliver it.. Ok... I mean it was not in that great of shape, and the enaml in the drum was quite worn... BUT she loved it..

I just find craig'slist weird. People send you emails about things you have for sale, arrange a time to look at the item and don't carry through. That's awesome you got $75 for the dryer when you listed it for $45. I listed my Calypso for $90 just to recoup the money I spent for the pump. Did I get that? nope! I got $55 instead and a smile from 2 giddy men that hurried it out of the side gate and into the truck. The expressions on their face and the way they man-handled that machine so quickly was just priceless!(like 2 greedy men discovering a huge chest of gold) Only if I had a camera to film the event. But to answer your question, I wouldn't pay anything for any machine with the name Maytag Performa. When I do get Maytag Performa machines, I use them for weight for when I go to the scrap facility.

Take the Performa name with a grain of salt... There are Dependable care machines out there with the Performa name plate such as the LAT3600AAE...
