Overflowingmachines has uploaded new videos that are really great. He has redeemed himself after the oversudsing videos. That i like.

In these clips he wash in a Cylinda Sverigetvätten and A Hoover Soft Wave Wa 800 De Luxe.

I very much know the person who owns these machines. I have repaired the Hoover machine one time. Alot of coins were stuck in the pump.

Ok video 1

Here the two machines are happily washing away and going into first rinse.

In the next video the Hoover does a HUGE sudslock spin. I,m both surprised no suds came from detergent drawer or the machine cut out the spin.

The machine shakes alot and makes a racket. It must have been very heavy for it with the pillow and blanket we later see in the dryer video.

Then we got to see the last spin. Wowser!!. The machine was quite unbalanced. Could have gone wrong. Luckily it didnt.

Big waterlock spin also.

LOL. Here we see the blanket and pillow that was in the Hoover. Why did he use the Hoover instead of the Cylinda? Cylinda would be a better choice because it has bigger drum and is newer.

I used a Cylinda at a friend's home in Småland last mont

Washed very nicely. Do their machines have a good reputation? Where are they made?

While in Småland, I also re-experienced some infamous Christmas delicacies.....

ASKO-Cylinda

www.cylinda.se/Om-Cylinda/Om-Cyli...

www.asko.se/om-asko/historia/asko...

For our sake Antonio Merloni kept the original swedish ASKO works separate from italian ones, despite of this ASKO combos are made in italy so they are plain Ardo/Servis/Equator "merlonades" with an ASKO label.

Strangely ASKO made appliances aren't sold here in Italy. exception given of washers that are sold as the likes of miele Little Giants by some laundry machinery manufacturer (GrandiImpianti, Electrolux Professional ..)
Can't understand why ... ASKO is a high end brand, ARDO & co are budget brands so there wouldn't be any internal competition

Fredrick, is ASKO quality always the same as in past times? Someone on THS and Epinions complains about PC board reliablity. I' ve seen also Mielelabor's ASKO on YT spinning @ 1600 and are very impressed. Asko washers weight much less than mieles, yet they don't shake at all even @ full speed. Indeed the Quattro suspension system does work

What about dishwashers ?

I have heard...

ronhic's profile picture
.....that the ASKO machines of a few years ago are not as reliable as the previous ASEA or ASKO-ASEA badged ones.

As for what they are like today, if I was paying AUD$1400 for a machine, I would buy a base Miele....

From my experince..

Asko is not as good as they were back in the days. They cost cost almost as much as a miele.

When my Elektro-helios brake i will buy a Miele. The Elektro-Helios is ok but have a few issues.

Oh, and Asko is named Cylinda here in Sweden.
