My 1966 Kenmore 900 piano key washer won't drain properly or not at all. After checking the hoses and pump I discovered that the pump lever is not engaging fully. Could this be the agitator and extractor control solenoid as described in the Kenmore repair master? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I would watch the action of the agitator cam bar and solenoid. Does the agitator stop moving during the neutral drain? The pump is only controlled by the agitator cam bar.
Hi Robert. We watched underneath while the machine was shifting from agitate to neutral drain. The agitator did stop as it's supposed to but the cam bar that is attached to the pump is only moving into the drain position now and then. Sometimes it works fine and others it stays in the position it's in during agitation so the pump isn't being shifted to drain from filtering. We thought perhaps the solenoids for the cam bar that are attached to the wig wag need replacing.
