Does anyone out there want these? They both need work, The washer has a new pump but the drive wheel that drives it off the motor needs work to reach it as it worn down. The boot is shot, you will need a new boot. There is a dial on the washer now (thank you Greg). The dryer is missing its blower and heater, you will probably need to find another machine and take two machines to make one good one. We need the space, the machines are free to a good home if you can YouCrate or pick them up in the next week or so. Otherwise you all know their fate. I found them at an estate sale a few years back. |

You KNOW I want them... Oh cruel fate, I have no way of acting so quickly on this set!! However, if someone out there can take advantage of this set, I have a pump drive wheel that should work fine, I have a brand-new-still-in-the-box Westinghouse pump for this machine AND I have a brand-new-still-in-the-box door boot for this exact machine (like the one I tried to use on the L5 but was not the correct replacement part). I hope that someone can save the pair!! CLICK HERE TO GO TO turquoisedude's LINK |

Robert, Why aren't you restoring them? And where in the world would someone find a boot for a machine this old? |

to throw those machines away! surely someone in the mpls. area or close vicinity will want these bad enough to arrange pick up. if i wasn't in ohio and up to my neck with un- picked up dishwashers right now i would be on the phone to u crate it myself! i simply don't have the money now. this site is about preserving beautiful old vintage appliances! well here are two classic beauties being offered to a good home for free! it doesn't get better than that! |
