Looks to be the Lady Kenmore with the "garage door" control panel.
My aunt had one of these. A truly beautiful dryer. I remember that when you lifted the garage door the whole panel lit up wether the dryer was running or off. I use to like to sneak down her basement with the basement lights off, and lift the garage door. It would light up the whole basement.
Really cool !

Not sure if it's a "Lady" or not, but it's definately a direct-drive model, as indicated by the round tub ring, rather than the D shaped of a belt-drive. Did they make the "garage door" control panel on DD machines?

To "Circle W"

(Your Question/Quote) "Did they make the "garage door" control panel on DD machines?"

(My Answer) No they didn't..... Only the Belt-Driven Lady Kenmores from 1969-75 had the "Garage Door" Control Panels. The only thing that came along when the D/D TOL Models came out was that they only featured Electronic Control Panels. And up until 1999 (when the first Kenmore Elite came out..... which was the Catalyst), even those panels lit up (when you flipped a switch on the Washer I am sure..... not sure about the matching Dryer though).

If you'll look at that dryer again, you'll see that there is an oval sticker on the front, over the dryer door. That's the "Sears Best" sticker, given only to LK's. It was meant to be removable, but a lot of people didn't do that; I guess they were so proud of their purchases that they wanted everyone should KNOW, as they say in Brooklyn.

Must need my eyes checked!

See now it is the dryer Kenny Goatfarmer was refering to. Yes, it must be a "Lady" with the "Sears Best" sticker on it.

I can tell...

...that it's definately a Kenmore of any sort, by the picture-frame top. I don't think we had the "garage door" Kenmores in Canada.
