Those are absolutely wonderful videos Mike. The fill hose on the WO-65 is an easy fix, take the hose off and take it to Ace hardware, they sell hose on the roll of the correct size that should fit. Probably a clear braided hose will match that size. Question, what kind of camera did your friend use to film, the video quality was just wonderful? Be sure to click the HD button on the bottom right of the player when watching them. |

Robert: It's a brand new camera, thirty-four hundred bucks, I'll ask him later, but think it's a Hitachi, or something Japanese. There's an Ace right in the village on my bike route. I'll snip a braid today. Thanks and THANKS. Thanks, Eddie, I bet your hose-above-the-valve works better than mine:'D Anything for you Gordon ;-> Hey, are those rub-a-dub sounds on the Lady K, Okay Hey Arthur!!! "Air..." Whirlwind, you got it, Man. Figures. Thanks |

Wonderful Robert and Fabulous Eddie: Denny is a young budding professional who films weddings on weekends for a living, so this is like his job, and he's also studying film and is in class right now, but I'm surprised he hasn't gotten back to me. Of course you all know I hallucinate--both visually AND audio-phonically(?) , but I could have sworn I heard him say 34 hundred. He's a former student who's kept in touch and he always went for the gold so I'm not surprised he bought the best camera out there. 34 dollars??? 34 thousand? I better stick that unimatic power hose in my ear. I'll have all the specs as soon as he calls, stops, or emails. |

The camera is a Panasonic HMC 150 from B&H Photo & Video in NYC purchased on-line from their website He did say thirty-four hundred which stuck in my mind--so much mooluh!-- but smart cookie that he is, he had it sent to a friend just over the border in PA, sixty miles away, avoiding the exorbitant NY sales tax. The final price was $3330 on the nose. Pete, Thanks for the wonderful email. You're so welcome. I'll call you soon. |

Mike - great presentation! I personally don't like the idea of being filmed and talking to people, so I'm glad to see that you are. Your machines are wonderful - love the '62. Two things about the pulsator that Mark sent. Make sure it has a D shape hole to fit over the pulsator shaft. It if does, measure the height of the original vs. the replacement. Even though it may be smaller in diameter than the original it should work as functional replacement. The original rubber 5432199 replacement is getting hard to find. Ben |

Up off the couch from a nap and right in front of the camera. Excited and a little wired for the risk involved in going public, I forgot to show a WO Suds-return and a spray rinse, two main objectives of filming in the first place. Worse, I didn't even wash and tighten up my mug nor brush my hair, and hey, it ain't Hollywood, but sheesh, no grooming!!!! Bingo! Ben,there is a D in the hole, but the diameter being smaller is inconsequential. Thanks for saving me from further searching. This should work fine. The height is right. I love the 62, too. It makes so many cool sounds that it rivals a Kenmore, it has a speed selector, and the "Wash-n-Wear" cycle is unique and programmed. The suds-return pic: |

Hey Mickey, lovely washa commentary, great to see just how all your machines sit & hang together, I thought they where just courtesy of the porch area!!! That drain hose on the Unimatic acts just like the Hoover twinny, ready to jump up and lash a load of water all over you and the utility room...Lol I can see why the vids look so clear, with the HD camera and pro lens they look like you are realtime viewing them!! All you need now is the Easy Twinny with the see thru sides and get your cameraman to come back & shoot it!!! Cant believe it was over a year ago I gotten to ride shotgun with you!! we need a twinny trippin experience soooonnn!!!! cheers, Mike |

Mikey, Mikey, yeah it was just over a year ago--long overdue for another trip. The washers have rebelled against winter accommodations on the deck; the Unimatic led the strike with multiple wounds to his arteries, after spending an Arctic winter there. So now all machines sleep in the kitchen, basement, or garage. Given up on the glass Easy, opting for Plan B--finding a glass/collision man to do the deed on my own Easy. Nice tease with the SS impeller& tub next to my cheap yellow plastic one;'D Great to hear from you. How cool that the man just on top of you Jim Frigiman was with us at Canton too. JIM, you're too funny, as usual--Viagra indeed. How are you, Man? I'm on the hose but the clamp on top just before the elbow into the fill flume is one I can't yet figure out. It looks like a wide wedding ring with the middle band removed. Never seen the likes of it. EUGENE, "my hat's off to you," and your cat's paw is down with that, cool pic, but how I wish it were your mug and not a meow puss. Are you still cookin' up a storm and generating a load of "bar mops." Missed you very much. Thank you, Gentlemen. What a huge treat for me to see you all at once. |

You really outdid yourself this time! Those videos are definitely your best ones yet. The Custom Imperial is to die for! Thanks so much for the "homage" to the GE mini-basket. I have to say that isn't so much a "mini" basket in your huge GE! That sucker is big! Gosh I love those things! Thanks again! Jon |

The basket you so kindly sent me is the straight 3-vane. I do have an old bakelite ramp activator as well and I swap the two out pretty often. Hopefully I'll find a spiral mini-basket one of these days so I can compare the two. I must challenge you to make a full video of your GE sometime hopefully with a full load. I want to see what the 18-lb GE can handle. Thanks again and good to see you, especially your face finally! These videos are the first ones that actually have YOU in them. Jon |

It was a green sheet. Because my computer is misbehaving, I can only enter YT through an embedded entry, so I can't view who made the film. Is it yours? The GE 18 is a great winter washer. With the 3 vane ramp, and the hoodies and the thick sweat pants--hey, you know what winter's like now that your in the cold North and out of the hot south-- ya just can't beat a GE. Well....maybe a Norge ;'D, and the Frigi is no slouch but it can't handle the volume of a GE 18. So there IS a Spiral min-basket. Thanks. I always wanted to know. I promise to groom myself as well as you do for my next flick. I still can't believe I got up off the couch and stood in front of the camera for the whole world to see without an appearance check. That's how excited and nervous I was. Good thing I napped in my pants. I'll do the full load for you. When you get time, teach me how to change or elongate the fill flume so that the spray rinse will aim ALL of the water at the clothes and not half of the volume into the outer tub, the machine's only disadvantage. Thanks again. I'll call you at Christmas time. You're the best |

Terry, those tech-talk books you and your friend so kindly shopped, organized, and sent were a godsend in grounding me for the bellows repair. Thank You, that was a lot of work, much appreciated, and your welcome, as ever. Brent, Tom warned me to be careful not to electrocute myself when attempting opened-up washer tricks. I'd love to film that, but I don't know--cold wet feet ;'D Many thanks for being the first to show us the most famous Easy in history. Thanks, guys, have a wonderful afternoon. It's sunny and 50 again in Buffalo! Will winter ever come? |
