Hi,

You all may remember me from some time back.
I have the Kenmore Elite the front Start button
once came off. The whole front button panel was
replaced under warranty. Other parts and labor
would have been nearly $300 for a plastic.

Well I just noticed the Turbo Zone button
is half coming off and I rarely use it. The
Start button is almost halfway through. It is
as if these buttons are scored into the panel.
I had read of another model with this complaint.

My question is that I happened to see this and I
have about three weeks left on my Sears one year
warranty. Should I have them fix it and will they?
Should I tell them the button has fallen off and
when they approve it remove it? :-)

If I had to do this over I would have put a Squaretrade
warranty on it. I just recently got hip to Squaretrade.
Sears wanted 180 bucks for 5 years. Squaretrade wanted
100 bucks for 5 years and I probably could have got it
for 80 bucks with their coupons. There supposed to have
good service and credit you the money of the item if it
takes more than 5 days. Paypal and Ebay own them.

Anyone? :-)

What's with these stamped in buttons?
Can they be glued on?

Joe,
I'm sorry, I am not ignoring your post; I just don't know an answer for you.

I think I'll call Sears and tell them it's falling off.
They fixed it once before. I have two weeks on my warranty.
I am hoping they have made a better after market part.

Any other feedback is welcome :-)

thank you
