I had one with the wings on the bottom of the agitator, but it had an automatic filter. It was purchased in either 1983 or 1984. |

Check the pump, if there was water in it and it froze it could have cracked the pump. It happened to our first Whirlpool we lost power during a winter storm and the water froze in the pump and cracked it. |

I'm sure I have seen it before, I've worked on the machine, but it did not register. So, I'd guess it's circa 1980 or so. Or is it from '78 since it does not have the self cleaning filter. Just curious, what it the LFA line? |
