My sister had one in the very early 1970s (when it was made and put in the condo she eventually bought). It held like 10 or 12 pounds. Otherwise I was pure Norge with burpulating and all. I wish I could have kidnapped it now.

Larry:

Can't say for sure on that modesl, but mother Toggle's NORGE's button set the water temps (wash/rinse)and the speeds (agitate/spin). They were labeled by fabric type & color (i.e. whites/colors). There was also a cold water wash button.

I'm asking owners if they still available and for more photos.
It's nice to see that these are still around.

yes Larry--4 temp combos and 4-speed combos on the buttons. My sister's was the 12 button pre-programmed cycle variety.

These were the best compact top loading washers I ever saw. I found a set (the dryer was gas!) in Orlando a while back and we used them for about a year until I found the Imperial 1-18 's.I never had any problems at all and boy did that washer get clothes clean!!The 1-18s were replaced with an Asko set in brand new condition a customr of mine at Lowe's gave me.

Didn't Jamie (Pulsator) have the "Bradford" version set of these in Avocado a while back?
