I've been presented with a sort of proposition. I have an early 2000 pair of GE "Commercial Quality" w/d and I've been sort of offered to trade them for a set of TOL Hotpoint Rim-Flo and dryer. The washer is one of the units with the 2 agitators, a removable rampie and the smaller fixed one for delicates (Hotpoint's version of mini-basket?). They need a little work, but they both work. The washer and dryer that I've got are perfect, older lady owned and used very little, but they're soul-less. The GE's only grace is that it's quiet and big. Biggest issue with the Rim-flo is it shakes uncontrollably in the spin cycle. It's also very heavy.

What you think?

The shaking could be an out of balance situation. Check the self leveling legs in the back.
