Just a friendly thought; The other day, my brother Pete was telling me that one of his daughters can spray paint an appliance making it look brand new and you'd never know.... etc. If you have a white Maytag or easy access to one, why not try it. Shop around for the nicest shade of Avocado you can find, practice on some cardboard, and go to it. Happy New Year to you too. |

Hi Michael. I'm not exactly close to Burlington VT, but I've got one I can do without. It's one of the last generation manufactured, and it's truly in excellent working and cosmetic condition. It's an avocado model with pump, solid aluminum tub and turquoise agitator. I saved it from a neighbor's house when they moved a few years ago. They hardly used it. I don't have special emotional attachment for it, and wouldn't mind at all parting with it. I currently use it only to hold house cleaning/dusting rags. Let me know if you (or anyone else) is interested in picking it up or shipping it. Price will be extremely reasonable. Write me at kennywhy@att.net. Ken |
