a few months ago i posted a thread about my nanny's electrolux ew1200i washer dryer....

its gotten a lot worse since then, back then it was just a little squeaky on final spin....

now it sounds like a jumbo jet on steroids... its so loud it woke me up when i was sleeping over there on the weekend....

to try and make it last as long as possible we've been using the spin reduction button to make it a little easier on the bearings...

shes just going to use it until it claps out for good

is there any tips you guys could give to help use extend the short life left in the machine just for a little while longer??

Can’t think of any,

Watch out for the drum dropping, might rub on the heater or the outer tub which will cause other faults, the belt may slip off to if there is a lot of play in the drum.

Buy some ear defenders in the mean time.

put the machine on the lower spin speed. The only way to extend the life. (or replace the bearings!)
