Robert, if the original patent was applied for in '43, makes one wonder if this was something progressively under development over a period of years. Possibly a late '30's design. That would put it in the league of a number of early designs. Totally Steve, although from the application date this one is a bit later than GE, Blackstone or Frigidaire top loaders, but for sure was it being designed much earlier than '43. |
