Hi Bjorn

What twizzle got rid of those?

Strange to get rid of both! Is one a dud, so decided to buy new washer and dryer, or could this be a case of 'new kitchen syndrome'?

Stacking kit as well!

Both look in truly great shape - can you squeeze them in at home, alongside your A3060 and D6042?

Nearly done with the questions....

is that a D6182?
&
can I class them as preserved?

Congratulations on the new pairing.
Regards
Paul

ps

whats the elctron to the left of the A3260?

I wonder how many of those TV's still work! Are those example of unneccessary disposal, as a consequence of the digital switchover?

Both machines cosmeticly very good, but are mechanicly poorly, washing machine especially. Have just dismantled it (drum siezed solid) and am now on the hunt for new inner drum, spider and back plate if possible. Model number of washing machine is A3260, anybody got any spare ones hideing?

Tumble dryer works, but could do with good service and looks like cap on motor is weak as struggles to start up. Model number of the dryer is D6182.

Am certainly going to do my best with preserving them lol!

Along side is an Electron A3772, now fully reconditioned (apartfrom silver door trim that is at home) waiting to come back home with me, an Electron A3470 awaiting love and attention and also a Hotpoint 15790 all reconditioned and working.

All them tvs in background work, all going cheap if anybody interested!

Bjorn

Nothing that you cant handle though Bjorn.

They really do look great and would look excellent alongside you matching 'New Magics'!

Two generations of hoover machines.
Keep us all updated with how these machines turn out. Really interested.

Cheers
paul

Hello everyone:

I use my A3110 as a daily driver still working good and wash results excellent.

@ Hoovermad, what are the tvs you have, I am looking for a flat screen tv for my flat mates bedroom, off work at the moment with a broken foot and cant afford to buy new either so looking for a flat screen tv for his room.

YOu got anything like that?

Hi peoples!

Am shouting out for help on spares for the A3260. I'm after rear plate and inner drum assembly, new or good used, as so far i've drawn a blank on this. Anybody got any ideas?

Richard, got lots of choices on preloved (!) televisions, my only thought being the cost of getting one up to you.

Thanks
Bjorn

Mmmmm,

just been hideing at work and had an idea. I have a Hoover A3470 which is awaiting repair. I've taken the back off the machine and the backplate ect looks very similar to the A3260.
Does anybody know if this is the case, and would it be viable to get it to fit? It looks possible, but need voice of reason because i think i've persuaded myself it will fit lol!

Hi Bjorn,
You really are spoilt for choice as to how many drums and backplates will fit your A3260, even the logic backplates and drums are interchangable!.

Give it a go, it will fit!, (dont worry about if the thermostat holes differ they can be blanked off if not required.)

backplates and drums

Hello Bjorn

As Bertrum has correctly stated all the back plates can be interchanged, the only limiting factor is the drum size, as long as it is a drum from a 4.5kg washer they are all the same.

So yes go a head
All of of my old 1100s (except the A3060) have the later logic type backplates on them and of course these have the larger bearings.

HI Bjorn.

YOu got any flat screens in then? I might be able to sort a man with a van lol!

@ Gary... will my A3110 have the logic backplate in, it already has the drum with the blue paddles.
