Hi all,
This is what thanks to a friend I found out to save from end.
The machine went out without the pulley and the timer was smoking! The drum flaps didn't close correctly and the tube was awfully stinking!
The cabinet was in the worst condition I ever seen before and probably the machine have just been restorated once but now got rid of it caus the che bad washing performance due ( I suppose) to the wrong detergent dispensers spray pipes link and the drum forth-only rotating (that was the timer fault!)

Could you think I could wait!?!?!? I took the pulley from the other Castor (CT354X) and in roughly two hours the timer was restorated only cleaning the burnt contatc .
The stink went out with some baking soda and here you are the machine ready to be used again!!

The cabinet is still to be restored and you hear the cranck due to the concrete beating, the detergent spray pipes have to be linked correctly (now the prewash fills in fabric softner compartements and te fabric softners fills in main wash compartements so that really I wonder how could the previous owner get clothes cleaned and fresh rinses like that!?)
And the motor bearings should to be replaced too like it has been the capacitor

ciao Diomede,
how does the dispenser work ? Maybe with a belt system like in the Candy SA 75 - SA 88 ?

The timer was smoking ....

.... maybe it's because it was running on cycle "B" (cotone-lino-canapa = cotton-linen-hemp )

I can hear it singing :
"Could you be loooooooved and beee loooooooooooved ?" *LOL*

Prank-stop
Every time I open those plastic drum flaps in a current AEG or Zanussi toploader ..... I really miss these old good drums !

Wonderful find Diomede! I guess the side panel is missing? I hope you can fully restore the machine. Do you know how old it is? Is it a TOL model? I see it has the 800/400 spin button, on Zanussi's that was only on the more expensive models.

Thanks for the video's!

Ciao!

other than Staber which is soo $$$$ over here (and haven't heard much good about them either). Ol' Maytag came up with their own and now that's gone...

Thanks!

The dispensers are provided with a triple solenoid and the fourth one (bleach) have a separate solenoid like the DW rinsaid, it relaease the bleach during the cooldown (befor C rinse cycle)... no leverage though.

I don't know nothing of this machine like TOL or the age but the panel was took out only to check the right drum rotating... nothing is missed a part from the pulley... The timer is a Siemens thus I think the is not a BOL of course :D
Don't know whether I'll be able to restore it completely but ther's the will to do it!

Right! The american market is waitint for this only!!

another clue once Zanussi was a reliable brand

4 separate solenoids ! not that belt bullXXXX !! that damned thing was cheaper than 4 solenoids and the belt was very smart as it displayed arrows over the rproper compartment. But, when it broke, it started throwing detergent bleach and FS all together in joy and happiness in the prewash

That's the reason because Zanussi worked also as a contractor ( AEG Lavamat 400F, toplader Lavamat 585, some Hotpoint Liberator)

Candy machines could be a true bargain for them, but -not a case- AEG and Hotpoint went for a minor bargain to Pordenone (aka Zanussitown)

Can't say the same for current ZanAEGelux . In the last month my sister lost her 6 y.o. fridge (dead compressor) and 8 y.o. dishwasher (dead board). This is the so-called "programmed obsolescence" Thomas talked about
