Hi does anyone know where I can get a DVD showing a european washing factory making washing machines, I contacted a few firms but they said they have no footage

That will be very difficult.

most of the factories I know don't allow footages being made in the production areas.

However, some manufacturers can make some institutional videos showing parts of the production lines. Most of these videos show almost unimportant parts (like the plastic injectors or the final assembly line) or lines that are going to be deactivated, to protect the industrial secrets.

Electrolux has some high quality videos showing some production lines and plants around the world. You can download those videos at www.electrolux.com... Look for the media section. There are dozens of different videos, including one made on the last plant I worked.

The only inconvenient about those videos is file size. As the videos are very high quality, the files are huge.

Talking about videos...

Things seem to be changed past few years but that was what all Electrolux employees used to do and believe.

No actors were used. Every people in that video are or were real Electrolux employees and real consumers.
