In an effort to start getting ready for my cross country move this summer, I'm beginning to clear out the basement... Up for grabs is an early '80's Simplicity square tub wringer washer. There's also an early '50's Westinghouse fridge (nice aqua interior!) Both of these were given to me by clients where I was doing reno's, so I'm happy to return the favour and pass them along to anyone that wants them. Otherwise the washer goes on Craigs and the fridge goes to the crusher (although I do get a whole $35.00 cashback from BC Hydro for being powersmart....) Both work well, Ivory starch & ancient Mrs. Stewarts blueing included. More to come....

I wish I was close!!

If I could I would love the fridge,as for power consumption it will use less power overall than a new one.

I would love to have the washer. Are you in Toronto or Vancouver?

Running the Border

Any special hoops to jump through crossing the border with a free vintage appliance?

Hey Kelly ... I had no problem bringing my Maytag E2LP wringer washer across, after picking it up in Tacoma last fall. The border guard looked at me like I was a tad strange - but that's OK!
