Thanks to Coldspot66, I installed the Water Valve he gave me.

A little retrofit on the mounting bracket from the Original Valve, and things are so far OK.

Hooked her up and away we go !!!

Congratulations on reviving your Unimatic. No laundry room is complete without one. Once you use one you can never turn back because nothing else is quite like one. Of course, working on them is another story altogether and equally unique!

Congratulations, Eddie! How wonderful to see that Unimatic pulsating away!! I am hereby pledging to drive down and see that beauty in person this spring. Doesn't it feel great to finally get a machine working after a couple of challenges?? I wonder if the new timer is the cause of the cycle to dial mismatch... I hope you can find one - that would make the machine even more perfect!!!

Hi Paul

toploader55's profile picture
Thanks. The New Timer sans the timer motor is going to Brazil this morning. I will call Larry at Modern and see if they have the correct dial. He sent me one for a double rinser but insisted that was the one I needed. These machines are incredible.

Is it my imagination ???

I'm just putting away the White Wash I did last night and they really look the brightest and cleanest I have ever seen.

Not to coin that phrase but they really "Dazzle". My laundry always looks great and people ask how I get whites so white but this particular load is immaculate.

Is it because of the Overflow at the end of the wash and the Overflow Rinse combined with the high extraction ?

As far as I know, I'm the only guy with a Frigidaire Unimatic in Brazil... Heyyyyyyyyy that's me!!! wooooooo hooooo thank you Eddie!

Congratulations for your awesome machine. Unfurtunately I didn't have the same luck yet. Well, I also had no time past month to continue the restoring service and I'm slowly restarting the restoration process.

I already have some tools and parts (Thank you, Steve!) and the timer (thanks again Eddie!), plus my boss is almost finishing the timer motor (finally) and we're both almost sure it's going to work.

Thanks Eddie!

By the way Eddie...
There will be a "Wash-log-in" on Saturday night. Can you participate? I'd love to have you with us.
I don't know the time exactly, please talk to Steve for more information as some os his friends are going to his house for this event. We're going to get together online using Skype and/or Yahoo messenger.

I'm going to show my brand new H-axis top loader from Argentina and also use all the other machines, including that semi-automatic I have in a box in my bedroom.
